Where Volunteers Come Together to Learn

Whether you currently hold a volunteer role within your chapter or are considering one, look no further than our Chapter Leadership Institute, what we fondly refer to as CLI. 

This annual summer event takes place in mid-July. It brings together current and new chapter officers, individuals interested in becoming a chapter officer, and members of ALA’s Board of Directors and Chapter Resource Team for three days of networking and collaborating. 

Mark Your Calendars for CLI 2025

We’ll be gathering for the 2025 CLI where the wind comes sweeping down the plain: Oklahoma — specifically Oklahoma City. Volunteers and aspiring leaders from ALA chapters will convene at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel from July 17-19 to learn, network and engage with members of ALA’s Board of Directors and Chapter Resource Team. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your leadership skills and strengthen your chapter. The cost for registration for members is $499. We’ll post a link to registration with more details when they become available.
