Applying for the CLM Program
Certified Legal Manager CLM® Application Credits
All applicants for the CLM program must meet certain education prerequisites before sitting for the CLM exam.

At this conference, many breakout sessions will assist you in meeting the prerequisite educational requirements. All such sessions have been clearly labeled with the appropriate CLM Application category icons.

At the Conference …
- We use the honor system for reporting CLM application credits. You do not need to sign in and out on the forms (located at the back of each room) for all sessions you attend unless you also require other CE credits.
- Business Matters! and Meeting of Minds sessions do not count toward any type of continuing education credit.

Looking for CLM Recertification Credits
Certified Legal Manager (CLM)® Recertification Credits
Many sessions at this conference also count for CLM recertification credit. All such sessions have been clearly labeled with the appropriate CLM recertification category icons.
At the Conference:

Professional Education (CPE)
ALA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. IMPORTANT: In order to acquire any outside agency (non-CLM) credits — for example, HRCI, SHRM, CPE, MCLE and CLE — you must follow the below steps.
- You NEED to sign in and sign out of each session you attend.
- Look for an attendance tracking sheet at the back of each room. Please use that to sign in and out.
- You will also need to complete the AC24 Continuing Education Credit Request form as soon as possible at the end of the conference.
- All request forms must be submitted within 30 days of the conference ending (June 30, 2024).

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
Credit may be available in other states but cannot be guaranteed. In all states, accreditation is dependent on individual state guidelines and filing regulations.
To receive MCLE credit, you must sign in and out of each session and submit the Continuing Education Credits Request Form to ALA. Please view the form for submitting instructions.
