How to:

  1. Download the ALA Events Portal app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have downloaded the portal app, select the download icon for ALA’s 2023 Chapter Leadership Institute.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your registration and click Continue.
  3. You will be emailed a one-time access code. Please note it may take up to 20 minutes to receive your code via email. Be sure to check your junk folder just in case.
  4. Return to the app and enter your verification code, then hit Verify.

Still in the #ALAConf23 App?

To return to the ALA Events Portal. Please be sure you have downloaded the most recent update for the ALA Events Portal app.

Pull up the bottom menu and click EXIT to navigate back to the portal.

Alternatively, please delete and redownload the ALA Events Portal app.

What do I do when an “Email Not Found” error message appears?

If you receive this error message, please email [email protected] a screenshot of the error message and your registration confirmation email. This will help us troubleshoot and grant you access to the app promptly.

How do I access the conference materials?

To access the conference materials, find the Materials icon on the dashboard.

Speaker presentations will be uploaded the weekend of the conference.

Am I able to network with my fellow attendees on the app?

Yes you can connect and network with fellow attendees utilizing the chat feature. During profile setup, simply choose 'Yes' to enable the chat functionality.

Select Chat on the dashboard to see who else has opted into this feature.

How do I download my session notes?

Session notes can only be downloaded through the web version of the #ALACLI23 app.

The web version can be accessed here: https://ca-apps.fliplet.com/ala-events-portal

On the dashboard locate My Notes to access all the notes you have taken throughout the conference. Click Export all notes to export the .csv file to your desktop.
