Download the App Before the Conference:

Mobile: Download the ALA Events Portal app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you have downloaded the portal app: Select the download icon for ALA’s Executive Leadership Summit.

Enter the email address associated with your registration and click Continue.

You will be emailed a one-time access code. Please note it may take up to 20 minutes to receive your code via email. Be sure to check your junk folder just in case.

Return to the app and enter your verification code, then hit Verify.

Desktop: You can access the same great content through the web version: ca-apps.fliplet.com/ala-events-portal ( but the app is recommended for the best experience)

New! Accessibility Improvements

We have taken proactive steps to enhance accessibility within the ALA Events portal app. Our conference app is tailored to seamlessly integrate with your phone's accessibility settings including zoom, magnification and custom coloring. We have also taken steps to improve our color choices, image usage, contrast, font sizing and text wrapping for a more accessible app experience.

We are actively working to improve the functionality of how the app integrates with voice-to-text device features. You will find that although voice assistance tools work, the functionality is not as accessible as it could be. In the meantime, you will find more read-aloud-accessible menu options for essential app sections like speakers, sponsors and agenda.

Still In a Previous ALA Conference App?

To return to the ALA Events Portal:

Please ensure you have downloaded the most recent update for the ALA Events Portal app.

Pull up the bottom menu and click Exit to navigate back to the portal.

Alternatively, please delete and redownload the ALA Events Portal app.

FAQs

When I try accessing the app, an “email not found” error message appears?

Kindly ensure that you are inputting your email address in all lowercase letters. If you are still receiving this error message, please email [email protected] a screenshot of the error message and your registration confirmation email. This will help us troubleshoot and grant you access to the app promptly.

 

How do I access the conference materials?

To access the conference materials, find the folder Materials icon on the dashboard.

Speaker presentations will be uploaded the weekend of the conference.

Am I able to network with my fellow attendees on the app?

Yes, you can connect and network with fellow attendees utilizing the chat feature. During profile setup, simply choose 'Yes' to enable the chat functionality.

Select Chat on the dashboard to see who else has opted into this feature.
