We’re excited to have you virtually join us to climb higher in your leadership training March 18–20 at ALA’s Essentials of Chapter Leadership.
The cost to participate in this virtual event is $499 per chapter. This registration fee grants unlimited access to all chapter members and prospective leaders interested in attending. This opens the door for any member of a chapter to participate so long as the chapter has paid its registration fee! What an awesome opportunity!
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Chapters are asked to submit the registration form and provide a billing contact responsible for registration payment. The primary contact for the chapter can also serve as the billing contact, or it can be someone different. Once you have identified those individuals, the primary contact simply needs to submit the chapter registration form.
ALA staff will notify the billing contact within two business days of receipt of the completed registration form to provide instructions to complete payment of the chapter’s $499 fee. After payment is complete, the receipt for payment is automatically generated and sent to the Chapter President. Additional copies of the receipt can be sent to a different email address that can be provided after checkout.
Once payment has been processed, ALA staff will contact all current chapter members and provide a chapter specific registration link and promo code. Individual registration is required in order to access the event platform, materials and session recordings post event. Individual attendees and your primary contact from your chapter must register by 5 p.m. Central on March 12. Individuals who do not register themselves by the deadline will be unable to access the platform.
Payment of the invoice is required before the registration promo code will be sent to your chapter members.
Note: For chapters interested in attending but concerned about the cost, the ALA Board of Directors has set aside funds to support those chapters who need assistance with the cost. Funding assistance applications are available here. The deadline for submission is February 12.
By registering for this ALA conference, you are consenting to receive conference-related communications in addition to sharing your contact information publicly on attendee rosters. You have the ability to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting [email protected].
